Ensuring that business processes conform to a set of prescribed compliance requirements [Turetken et.al., 2011], [Turetken et.al., 2012] {GEN: Compliance}. Business process compliance management spans over the complete business process life cycle, which starts with design-time business process compliance management and complemented with run time and offline compliance monitoring to ensure continuous and absolute compliance assurance.
