The idea (a generalization of the concept of
transaction chaining) is to divide the service composition into many
“connected” global transactions called strata. In other words, strata
are fragments of the service
composition, each one coordinated by a 2PC protocol. The strata
communicate with each other for coordination purposes using persistent
message queues [Danylevych et al. 2009] . |
