Human Computer Interaction is the study of the interaction between humans  and computers (in their broadest sense, including computerized devices and large scale computer systems as well as stand-alone computers). It is concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems which it aims to make more usable and useful for human use. [PO-JRA-1.1.1] [CD-JRA-1.1.5]
Codified HCI knowledge can be exploited at several stages of the service-based application lifecycle to enhance service-based application development.[PO-JRA-1.1.3]
{SYN: HCI, Computer Human Interaction (CHI), Human Machine Interaction (HMI)}  [Wikipedia]
